_{hello!

so it's all pretty much a good news journal!

i've had 4 days (3 days a week) at college doing media production already and today was no doubt the best, despite our group being split and mixed with another group, we get to do more in-depth photography than the other two groups, horray!

we learnt how to set up cameras etc, then our group went out and interviewed the random people on the streets of peterborough! it felt really great just to listen to people who i didn't know and their opinions. everyone was nervous at first and we made a few mistakes like filming my feet for a good half hour, but i can't wait to edit it. even though theres not much to edit, its great to edit something we all put our own effort into, which will also basically be our first college project!

in the other journal i posted this month, i said i'd sent a photograph to the local newspaper. no doubt it got published! yeah okay, it's just a local newspaper, but i feel as though its a small step forward to what im aiming for, and every little helps!

also im looking forward to a phonecall, perhaps this week, about moving to a flat in peterborough! i'm trying hard not to get my hopes up, but i just cannot wait to leave behind the people that are holding me back, one person in particular who's hurt me physcially in the past and mentally every day of my life. i'm not ashamed to admit it now, he's a bad person and i've listened to his harsh words too long. if i do move, i'm going to try and make most out of it! i want to live my life how i've always wanted it and show people that i CAN change when i get the opportunity. it's going to be a totally fresh start! thats only if i get the flat of course.
